The first doctor I came across on YouTube after I started thinking about double eyelid surgery was this doctor, and unlike other doctors, it felt like he genuinely wanted to do YouTube, because the videos were clearly filmed and edited by him directly, which made everything feel trustworthy, so this was the first place I went to for an in-person consultation. At first I went in with almost no information about double eyelid surgery, so I asked whether my eyes, which are monolid, horizontally long, and not small, would be good candidates for double eyelid surgery. After looking at my eyes, he said I had a crease already and that double eyelids would be a good idea. He set a very natural line only, said my eyelids were a bit thick so we should do a partial incision, and when I mentioned fat removal, he just agreed and the consultation ended very quickly lol The coordinator came in, told me the price cleanly, and was about to help set the surgery date, but I said I'd contact them later and left for the time being. At that time I was still really clueless, so I didn't even try to negotiate the price or ask the doctor anything.. I think it might be good to visit again. And if you're going for an in-person consultation, I think it's better to look things up in advance and prepare your questions before you go!
