The consultation was shorter than I expected. More than expected, they did not seem to value the patient's words very much during the consultation. The patient has no medical knowledge and they seemed so confident that they probably thought there was no need to listen. Leaving aside the fact that this made me think I should switch majors and go to medical school instead, cosmetic surgery is something done on the patient's own face, so I think it should be carried out after understanding the patient's needs and reaching a compromise with the doctor's opinion. In that sense, I was very disappointed in the director's attitude. Since this was a revision surgery, it was inevitable that I would be cautious about functional issues, but they did not try to understand the customer's(?) position. At least there was no consultation fee, so that was a relief.
