If you've had hump removal and osteotomy, don't listen to them and do not have it removed here. I'm writing this again because I was discharged from the military, did various things, and am now having revision surgery after 4 years. You absolutely cannot judge from photos alone how much of the hump was shaved or how much osteotomy was done; you have to open the nose to know. They said more than 90 percent would come back, but my nose is scraped raw and one side is more hollowed out. The reason I had it removed was because the nose got thicker after hump surgery, and now the tip of my nose has gotten more than three times bigger. I really regret not having revision surgery sooner, and it looks like I'll end up spending 800 on costal cartilage.
