He also did a Photoshop simulation, which helped me understand my nose much better. But ultimately, he said the line from my previous nose surgery was pretty and asked where I had it done, and he actually recommended a forehead lift might be more effective. He also said that if the visibility of my nostrils was stressing me out, lowering the alar base might help, though because of my nose type, the nostrils would not lower in a pretty way.
So in the end he said lowering the alar base would be optional. As expected from Rococo's reputation, there was no overt over-treatment or sales pitch saying I would definitely look beautiful no matter what, and I appreciated that he gave me an honest consultation.
