So I looked more into plastic surgery clinics that work like factories, and what bothered me a bit was that it seemed hard to meet the director after surgery. It also turned out that this place said there would be no follow-up visit with the director after surgery, so I am thinking about it again..
Original post: I went to consult with Director Kim Hyeong-seok about double eyelids. First they took several photos, then I consulted with the manager. I said I wanted a non-incisional procedure, and when I asked about eye correction, they said non-incisional eye correction has little effect and is not recommended. I had been thinking of not doing eye correction anyway, so I liked that point. The manager was kind. The director was the brightest and kindest of all the directors I have met. I was worried he might seem tired after surgery, but he did not show any sign of that. He set the line more than 16 times in total, twice for each eye, across levels 1 to 4. He said levels 1 and 2 were possible without incision, and levels 3 and 4 had to be done with incision. He asked me which one I preferred, and I said I liked 2 and 3. Then he said he recommended levels 1 and 2, and explained again why level 3 was odd while drawing the line. Once I heard the explanation, it made sense, so I decided to go with level 2. For epicanthoplasty, he said it was okay to do it if I wanted the line visible in the inner corner of the eye, but I did not want that, so I decided not to do it. The price was 1.32 million at the standard rate, 1.21 million if I disclosed partial photos, and 1.09 million if I left a review and paid a deposit. When I said I needed to discuss the deposit with my mother, the manager moved aside and told me to talk it over comfortably. The deposit was not fully refundable, but I considered it a consultation fee and left a deposit.
