For the 9 mm line, widening the corner is optional. They took photos, looked from the front, explained exactly what the problem was, and adjusted the line several times. They said I should do the upper epicanthoplasty. I was worried because my eyes are close-set, but they said not to worry about the caruncle showing and that upper epicanthoplasty would not affect it. But other clinics say upper epicanthoplasty is also part of inner canthoplasty, so the caruncle does open a little more, so my trust level kind of dropped.
