I lived without any problems for years, then a few years ago my nose started feeling off so I looked for the surgeon. In the meantime the clinic had been taken over and was no longer active, but I searched and found the doctor. I visited them at another hospital where they were working, and they still had my records and said there was no issue with my condition. They had scanned and kept records that were over 10 years old, and when I asked for them they wouldn't give them to me, but instead drew a picture of my nose! Feeling uneasy, I visited the hospital once more, and then something I hadn't asked about back then came to mind, so I left a question on the website Q&A board. Through the consultation manager, I had them confirm again whether there were any other implants in my nose, and that was when I first heard that artificial dermis had also been inserted....! And then several more years passed. Compared with then, I now have a bit of implant visibility and redness. The area looks so strange that I still feel the surgeon would know best. But the doctor is probably an employed surgeon, so if I go back after several years, will they treat me like a total nuisance and refuse to consult with me....? Is it over the top to go back? I do plan to have it removed someday, but I do not plan to have that doctor do it. I already went to a clinic for removal consultation, but they said it was because my skin had become thin. Still, I want to get confirmation from the surgeon.
