My cheeks always looked puffy, which made me feel somewhat less masculine, so after a lot of deliberation I had buccal fat removal surgery. I did not have a double chin to begin with, but I wanted a sharper jawline. The result was very satisfying for the buccal fat, but I barely had any fat under my chin to begin with, so it seems that part was muscle.
