I had surgery around the end of December 2017. I went in after noticing under-eye fat bulging and looking into repositioning, but I was told that removal would be needed to prevent it from coming back later, so I had the removal surgery. When the big swelling had gone down but there was still some residual swelling, I thought I had made the right choice, but as time passed, the lack of fat caused hollowness. Right now my under-eye area is hollow, so I am thinking about fat grafting and regret that I got removal surgery instead of repositioning.
