This time I had to undergo revision because of an inflammation issue, so I got my nose checked. There seem to be only a few clinics that can do surgery including the bridge with autologous costal cartilage, so I did not go around that many places. I was planning to go somewhere that handles autologous costal cartilage surgery well and where the director explains things in detail. I wanted a director who really understands the material they are operating with, so I searched the community, apps, cafes, Google, and whatever else I could, and went around doing my own research before coming to this consultation. The director was, well, very thorough in the explanation, or so I should say? He talked about a lot of things in a very detailed way. If there was something I did not understand, he would mark it separately and explain it again. He seemed proud of the surgery itself. So I felt I could trust him. But... the estimate was definitely much more expensive than I had expected. It felt like there were quite a few patients too. Before seeing the director, there was a short time with the manager, and that felt about the same as other clinics. Since he seemed to prefer a safe style when doing surgery with autologous costal cartilage, I did not think that was bad. I was satisfied with the fact that he would design the nose to match my face when dealing with an inflamed nose, and also because my nose is a bit complicated to operate on.
