I had arm liposuction and went around to about five places. A friend of mine had surgery there, so I ended up choosing Lafrin. The manager consulted me really well, was kind, and explained everything clearly, so I thought, "If a hospital is like this, maybe they can still do a good lipo job even if the facility is shabby," and made my final decision. Honestly, before surgery, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say I decided because of the manager. She was so kind and angelic. But as the days passed after surgery, the tone of the text messages changed. Whenever I asked a question, they would always start with, "I explained that before the surgery~" lol. A friend of mine had it done there, and there was almost no fibrosis. But after a week, I started getting severe lumpy fibrosis, with hard swelling and pain, so I contacted them. They got completely stern and said, "Didn't we tell you before surgery that fibrosis always happens? Of course it happens." If it always happens, then why didn't it happen to my friend? Is my friend the weird one? lol Anyway, after that, when I asked how long I had to wear the compression garment (they had even handwritten extra notes on the instruction sheet, but I was asking because the preprinted content and the added notes were different), they replied, "We already wrote it in the precautions too..." It just seemed like they couldn't simply answer. I also asked about swelling because it had gone down and then suddenly appeared again, and they said, "Ms. XX, I told you before. It takes about this long for the major swelling to go down, and swelling and fibrosis for about a month are completely normal~" That's how they answered. But if the swelling had gone down and then suddenly came back, isn't it normal to be surprised and ask? If you already heard an explanation once, are you not allowed to ask again no matter what changes happen? lol? Before surgery they said to contact them anytime if I had questions... lol
Oh, and I never even got to see the surgeon who operated on me. I only found out when I went to have the stitches removed, but apparently he quit suddenly a week after my surgery lol. So until I'm fully healed, the only person I can communicate with is this manager, which is frustrating. Honestly, I never expected the attitude to change this much. Please keep this in mind, everyone. I work in a professional field at a hospital too, and even knowing that, they still act like that. I thought it would be even worse if someone who doesn't know much asked questions.
