I had double-eyelid surgery here about 8 years ago, and 4 people around me and I all had it done. At the time, the doctor recommended full incision with ptosis correction for everyone, and did not recommend any other surgical methods. Even for eyes that could have been done with non-incisional surgery or had enough need for canthoplasty, they still proceeded with full incision and ptosis correction. The line came out neat and I was satisfied with the result, but I guess everything depends on the individual case.
