It’s been about two and a half months since I had my third eye + nose surgery this time. For my eyes, the line was uneven, my eyes were asymmetrical, and one side’s double eyelid had loosened a lot, so I didn’t like it. For my nose, I had my first revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage this February, but the nasal tip kept drooping, making it look longer and like Squidward. So this time, I thought of it as truly my last surgery, had consultations at more than 10 places, and got my eyes + nose done together. I went from Busan and had consultations at several hospitals, but compared with any other hospital, the consultation with the very detailed and kind consultant and directors was better. (Other hospitals take waiting for granted, but here, because the wait got longer, the director and consultant apologized several times, saying they were sorry.) So I decided to have surgery and went into it with a nervous heart. The eye director performed the surgery with real confidence and kindness, and at the end of the surgery, they told me, “Now this is your last surgery,” so I was so happy. For the nose, I closed and opened my eyes and it was already over lol. What I wanted most was that for my eyes, a lot of the swelling has gone down, the line has become really smooth, and the eye sizes have become almost similar. For my nose, amazingly, the length became shorter and the nasal tip lifted, so it’s really fascinating. There is still swelling in both my eyes and nose, but I think the swelling is going down faster than expected. Every time I go for follow-up visits, the director personally checks on me, and they are really kind and reassure me every time, so I’m honestly 100% very satisfied.
