First, the manager was kind, and communication was pretty good. The director was also very kind; communication went well, and he said he would do his best to make it the way I wanted... that made me a little worried there... On the CT scan here, there was nasal valve stenosis that had not been visible on scans at other hospitals. He said it would be good to do the nasal valve at the same time, but I am not sure whether insurance is possible, so after getting examined at a university hospital, if they say the nasal valve problem is severe enough to get insurance coverage, I plan to do both together. For the cosmetic nose, when I said I was scared of silicone, they recommended no implant material. At other hospitals, they had definitely recommended 2 mm silicone, and at yet another hospital they recommended donated rib cartilage for a first surgery (they really disliked silicone here). Out of the four places I consulted, this one is the most appealing so far, so I plan to think about it a bit more and contact them again! After going around large hospitals and then visiting private clinics, it somehow felt more reassuring, like they could really take care of me.
