Wait time: I arrived at 7 p.m. because of work, so there was none at all (when I arrived at the hospital, I was the only person waiting). 30 minutes with the admin manager + 15 minutes with the doctor after they came in + 25 minutes with the admin manager I spent a full hour just on the consultation.
I had always seen the initials for this place as one that does contouring well, and since they even have late-night hours on Fridays, I made the trip to compare options. Honestly, there were not many reviews, so I was unsure at first, and I had actually been leaning toward another hospital I had visited, but after the consultation here, I changed my mind (I'm really not a broker;).
Maybe because I came so late, the counter staff was not especially friendly, but the consultation manager explained things while even drawing them out for me. I heard the same line I had heard at a previous hospital: "Your cheekbones are not that large, but your jaw area is so small and narrow that the cheekbones look bigger." / I also heard that the cheekbones on both sides are asymmetrical. Here they divide cheekbone surgery into four types and explained each surgical method and cost one by one. They explained everything extremely well. (It really did take a full hour just for the consultation.)

People separate J cheekbones and 4D cheekbones and say J cheekbones are the kind with no effect at all, but that is absolutely not true. The difference is whether they cut the bone in more of an L shape or not. Of course, 4D is the maximum bone reduction option, so if you want a totally doll-like face, you can choose 4D, but looking at my CT images, J cheekbones alone would already give me enough effect. According to the manager, people who regret cheekbone surgery usually fall into one of two types: 1) they are satisfied now, but wish they had shaved more bone. 2) they wish they had done it sooner. Another thing I liked was that they do not run app-review discount events, so the pricing is fixed. A lot of hospitals are obsessed with those damn reviews, saying they will discount if you write one, or they post app ads with event prices but then the price is different when you actually visit, right? (It goes up a lot.) I had set my budget at 3.5 million, but the price felt very reasonable. Both J cheekbones and 4D cheekbones involve stitches inside the sideburn area and inside the mouth. The sideburn stitches are removed after 7 days, and the intraoral stitches after 2 weeks. For aftercare, they give you a swelling injection on the day of surgery and a high-frequency laser? They said if time allows, you can receive it every day with no problem. But J cheekbones are done under sedation anesthesia, while 4D cheekbones are done under general anesthesia. The reason for sedation is that it is less hard on the patient when they wake up, and since there is no endotracheal intubation, it is more comfortable for both the doctor and the patient? I do not have enough medical knowledge to ask more. And I think they said it also causes less bleeding than 4D. 4D requires general anesthesia because they remove more bone.
I also felt this during the doctor consultation... When I went to a large hospital on a busy weekend for a consultation, the doctor talked super fast like he was rapping, only said what he needed to say, and as soon as I left the consultation room I personally saw him call the manager on the phone and tell her to bring in the next patient? It felt a bit like a factory to me.... But here, the doctor felt very human, and honestly told me that 4D is more expensive so it is better from his perspective, but lol, looking at my bones, I would not need 4D specifically. He also explained that cheekbone surgery would resolve the asymmetry on both sides, and the manager thoroughly explained all the side effects of cheekbone surgery even though she knew them all in detail anyway (swelling, nerve not returning, step-off, pin removal, etc.). Oh, and I learned today that feeling a step-off means the cheekbone surgery went well.
I also asked about the pulling band, and they said J cheekbones do not use it? Hmm, that is a bit questionable to me (if you shave bone, is the pulling band not mandatory?). Still, recovery seems faster than at other hospitals... But it also does not seem like they remove as little bone as quick cheekbone surgery does... Anyway, I really liked the consultation, and I am going to visit three more hospitals tomorrow, but if nothing is wrong, I think I will choose this place.
Things I liked 1. They do not do those lousy discount events where you write a review to get a cheaper price (fixed pricing). 2. The doctor was not just saying his piece and leaving; he had a human, considerate manner and even checked my face by touching it (I think whether they touch your face or not is important). 3. They showed before-and-after photos well (photos of other patients with their faces covered, and other patients' bone photos).
After going to one lousy hospital after another, I came here to a one-doctor clinic when he had time, and it felt like I had finally had a real consultation, so I went home in a very good mood.
+ And the manager was really honest too. What made me trust this hospital itself was that I have always been strongly against quick cheekbone surgery, and I knew quick cheekbones would not do anything for my face, so I had not even considered them. When I said that, the manager said, "If I had recommended quick cheekbones for you, you would have grabbed me by the collar," lolllllll
