The director named the clinic Chaeijeong by taking one character from each of the three directors' family names. Each director has a different specialty, and I received masseter reduction from the director with the surname Lee. I went in for a consultation and treatment reservation on the same day, and objectively, if the procedure did not seem very necessary, they did not recommend it.
I went because of TMJ disorder, but at first they told me to try dental treatment, so I strongly said I did not want repeated Botox and that I wanted the procedure, and only then did it finally go ahead. One thing I found a bit disappointing was that the director did not make much eye contact during the consultation, which made me think it was not very professional. (minus 1 point here)
Still, I figured I should trust them because of their long experience in that field and went ahead. (Everyone else, please do not do something that is basically gambling with yourselves!) It has only been a few days since the procedure, and especially for masseter reduction, it takes several months, so I will hold off on saying whether I am satisfied with the result and share again later.
Also, the reception staff and consultation manager were about as kind as the average clinic. The nurses who came into the operating room were not especially kind; they felt a little stiff and maybe a bit stuck in a routine, I guess? It is not that they were rude enough to ruin my mood, but somehow it still felt off. (Hard to put into words, a strange coldness here, minus 1.5 points)
Lastly, as for the procedure pain, it hurt like hell! (minus 0.5 points here) Even though I am someone who usually tolerates pain well, it felt extremely difficult. In fact, after the procedure, the swelling and pain felt much less severe.
