It’s been exactly 4 years since I had posterior and lower canthoplasty.. I’d heard that posterior and lower canthoplasty is, if you compare it to a window, a surgery that breaks the window frame, so I thought I should absolutely never do it. But they said their clinic had a new technology and that there would absolutely be no side effects, so I did it out of the desire to make my small eyes bigger. I really regret it and I’m angry at myself.. I also developed dry eye, so I’m putting in single-use artificial tears at least 10 times a day... The eye mucous membrane? The flesh and the eye are separated, so the dry eye is really severe.. About 3-4 months after the surgery, I went around looking into restoration surgery a lot, but after being told it would be difficult to return it completely to the original state, I gave up and just lived with it. These days I’m looking into restoration surgery again. Has anyone had lower canthoplasty and then had restoration while the mucous membrane was lifted like mine?.. If so, I would be grateful if you could share even a small piece of information.
If anyone reading this is considering posterior and lower canthoplasty, please absolutely do not do it! It is truly the choice I regret most in my life..
