The manager was kind, and it took about 30 minutes before I could consult with the doctor. The doctor opened by saying, “What matters is that the result may not come out the way I expect. Then is that the surgery's fault? You should not think about it that way. Every patient has different conditions.” That was a little surprising.. A clinic that says everything will definitely go well is not great either, but it also felt a bit like an attempt to avoid responsibility. The consultation itself felt the most professional and detailed compared with other hospitals. Because the area under my eyes is sunken, fat grafting is absolutely necessary, and for repositioning, there is a slight bulge in the under-eye fat, but because the skin is thin, a coating is needed. They said that if only fat grafting is done, the under-eye area may look puffy or the aegyo-sal may disappear, and as I get older the fat could protrude, so repositioning should be done together. They carefully explained that my skin is indeed thin and what happens when the skin is thin, along with other points that no other hospital had mentioned one by one, so overall the consultation was good. However, hospitals differ on whether repositioning is necessary or not, and there is an extra discount if you book on the day, but it is not a small amount. More than anything, I think I need to decide carefully about the under-eye area, so I am worrying a lot.
