Three years ago, I had surgery for a deviated septum and rhinitis, and also underwent aesthetic surgery for a dorsal hump: hump osteotomy and an implant-free procedure using ear cartilage. I also had alar reduction. At first I looked too much like Pinocchio, but the nose gradually descended, and now I have a parrot-beak nose. My crooked nose looks even more crooked, the hump is bumpy, and the effect of the alar reduction is minimal. Still, it is somewhat better than before plastic surgery and does not look unnatural, so I have just been living with it. But I want to undergo revision surgery again. I do not think I chose a clinic that was particularly skilled. Immediately after the surgery, I also had a hard time taking medication continuously for several months because of inflammation.

Nose Surgery@rhinoAug 28 You mean you can’t use the septum after septoplasty?
I had been thinking on my own that I would use the septum to build up the tip of my nose, but the doctor said that the septum that is bent because of septoplasty can’t be used for the nasal tip. So since this is my first surgery, they said

I had a consultation for a crooked nose and a hump nose. They said to shave it down and use septal cartilage. The doctor only said what was necessary, and drew the nasal line on the monitor screen while explaining it. They said CCTV…
