About 6 years ago, I had nose surgery using autologous costal cartilage! Back then, Dr. Oh Young-hwan was the representative doctor. It was rumored that he was the number one specialist in rib cartilage nose surgery, so the estimate came to 13 million won. I paid more than 8 million won in cash and had the surgery.. I was surprised because the hospital had a long history, was in an old building, and didn't even have an elevator, and it felt more like a neighborhood ENT clinic than a typical plastic surgery clinic, but I thought as long as the surgery was good it didn't matter. I had the surgery, but.. it wasn't the shape I wanted, and it wasn't even the line shown in the simulation. Without saying anything, they had inserted an implant near the philtrum under my nose, like a cat surgery.. In the end, I removed everything and had revision rib cartilage surgery at another hospital... The aftercare was terrible too. I waited more than an hour for the consultation with the doctor, but because surgery was running long, they told me to come another time, and I ended up never seeing the doctor again for 3 months. I heard he was then basically retired with honor.. It's one of the worst hospitals in my life.
