I had only received a quote for function + aesthetics, so I went back to discuss the materials and estimate again and set a date for surgery. Honestly, there were two other places I still wanted to visit, but High-end was always on my mind, so I canceled them and decided to trust and follow through.
I decided on my first surgery with septal cartilage + silicone + ear cartilage + osteotomy (correction of crookedness and asymmetry). (Since it was my first surgery, I was extremely careful because I really did not want to have a revision surgery T_T,,,)
They showed the photo of the nose I wanted in the operating room and performed the surgery. I said that if they opened the nose and the materials were insufficient, they could use donated rib cartilage, but during the consultation they said that if they judged it possible without rib cartilage, they usually would not use it. I was going for something between natural and glamorous, so maybe because I did not show any extremely flashy photos, they said septal cartilage would be enough. (I have a short upturned nose. Several years ago I had filler injected into my nose many times. Before the filler, it was just a low-bridged half-moon-shaped nose, and I was satisfied with it, so I had never even thought about nose surgery. But as the filler spread, the tip of my nose and the shape of my nostrils became lifted and looked strange, so I decided on surgery.)
I decided because the director seemed to have an aesthetic sense and seemed like they would fit well with what I wanted. The manager was also honest and kind, and the aftercare was good too~ They even said the director personally removes the splint and checks it~
Surgery is scheduled for early June! If it goes well, I will come back with a pretty review ^ ^
