I got lower lateral canthoplasty, incisional double eyelid surgery, and fat removal at Girin! On Saturday, I had the double eyelid surgery and fat removal first, and today I had the lower lateral canthoplasty. I’m satisfied so far.
Hmm, honestly, before going in, I don’t think there was much discussion about the design, so that part was a little disappointing. I wish they had asked me how much I wanted it widened.. But Director Song was kindness itself.. and I’m satisfied with the shape right now after surgery. For the double eyelid surgery, it was Director Lee, and he told me exactly what would and wouldn’t be done in a chic, concise way, so I actually liked that more. I went in thinking of a semi-out line, but he explained things like how my eyes aren’t suited for a semi-out line and that an in-out line would be better, and about eye drooping. I liked that the process of setting the line felt like there was a lot of communication with me.
I watched a lot of YouTube videos from people who had lower lateral canthoplasty before going, but honestly, it wasn’t that painful for me. Right after surgery, objects looked tilted and doubled, so the way home was a bit difficult, but after being home for an hour or two, that part got better~ I’m already bruising a lot, so starting tomorrow I’m going to manage the bruising too.
