Back in 2003, right after I finished the college entrance exam, I looked into it like crazy, and it was the place with the most masked initials on the internet. At that time there were two locations, Bundang and Apgujeong, and there were two doctors.
One of them seemed to specialize in noses a lot. Back then I had the procedure done by Director Kim at the Bundang branch. My standards for beauty were not even established yet, and mobile phones were not very developed, so I just went ahead without thinking much.
There were really a lot of people at this plastic surgery clinic back then.
The surgery was done with injections around the eyes and near the nose and forehead while I was fully awake lol Looking back now, wow... if I had to do it now, I do not think I could do it again. They told me to open and close my eyes, and the procedure went on while I could hear what sounded like radio noise... 18 years later, as I look into nose surgery, the current surgical methods feel like a whole new world to me.
Because it was buried sutures, there were no major side effect issues, but in the end my eyes became noticeably uneven. And the inner canthoplasty was actually pulled too far forward and made too sharp... if I could go back to that time, I do not think I would do it here. For about two years after that, even my parents and people around me said my previous face was better, so I really regretted it a lot. I just adapted and kept living with it, though.
But even if I went back then, maybe there was no technique to round the inner canthus out, so this may have been the best they could do..
Back then the doctor was busy, so he seemed a bit flustered, spoke quickly, and focused more on his own view than mine. Seeing the reviews now, I am a little surprised that people say the consultations are good. Maybe the consultation style has changed over the years as experience has accumulated.
