Maybe because it was only one session, there was no effect. The consultant was in salesperson mode. If I said I came only for one thing and not the rest, they would suddenly inflate the price to twice as much and tell me to do it that way, but if I said, "I'll only do this one," they would suddenly turn cold and get very blunt, telling me to pay over there, so I felt really bad.
