Reco Review

I had lower eyelid fat repositioning done today. The hospital is small, clean, and quiet. I didn't run into other patients like at some other hospitals. The manager's friendliness was just average. Not extremely kind, but not unfriendly either, just adequate businesslike kindness. The director's consultation wasn't very long, but the point was that there was no need to do fat grafting, and that it would be better to proceed with surgery by staying true to the basics of lower eyelid fat repositioning. I agreed with that, so I went ahead with the surgery. I went to 10 clinics for consultations, and most of them recommended fat grafting. I felt burdened because fat grafting seemed like it would make the treatment plan bigger, but Reco only recommended lower eyelid treatment, which I liked. In reviews, I saw people say the consultation felt scolding, and in reality I did get a slightly scolded feeling during the consultation too lol During surgery, the doctor was very gentle. I was anxious and scared, but during surgery the doctor was calm and soft-spoken, and kept comforting me by saying, "Yes, you're doing well~," so I felt at ease. The surgery took about 30 minutes, and right after surgery I looked in the mirror and my under-eye area looked so much brighter that I was really satisfied, maybe about 80%? Now, a few hours after surgery, the under-eye area has become a bit darker again T_T I hope it's because of bruising and swelling, and I plan to walk and do cold compresses diligently. Once I recover, I hope the under-eye area becomes bright again like it was right after surgery! The tear trough has been my biggest source of stress, so I'll look forward to one month from now.
