I had surgery the day before yesterday. On places like Babitalk, there are tons of posts saying the doctor and nurses are kind, but honestly that was not the vibe at all. While they were preparing for surgery, they were laughing, chatting, and joking among themselves in front of the patient... I was already nervous, so seeing that in front of me felt really off. And because they were moving from one patient straight into the next, when I got in, the area on the operating table where I had to lie down seemed to have disinfectant or something on it, which was unpleasant hygienically... The coordinator was really, really kind and explained things well. About 90% of my decision to have the surgery was because of the coordinator. But seeing those things on the day of surgery did shake my trust a little. I am a student abroad, so I had to leave the country right away and had set my surgery schedule tightly. During consultation they said I could do it as soon as the inner and outer swelling went down, and when I asked if it could be done after a month, they answered vaguely. So I had planned a schedule of inner corner first, then outer corner and mouth corners a month later, but on the surgery day they said it would take at least 3 to 6 months, so my schedule was messed up. Until the day before surgery I had 100 percent trust, but all these things on the day of surgery made me really annoyed. I asked them to reduce it as much as possible, and since I already have a triangular mouth, they said they could reduce it by 4 mm, but then it would be too short and the triangular mouth would get worse. Originally I was going to have the outer corner done right away even if it got that severe and then leave the country, but that made my thoughts a total mess. I do not even know exactly how the triangular mouth becomes triangular, and I cannot stay overseas like that... So right before the procedure I changed it to 3.5 mm, and I regret it... Looking at other people, even after reducing it by 5 mm it seems to lengthen again after a few months, and I am terrified that mine will do the same. I am also scared the effect will disappear once the swelling goes down, and I am so stressed out. And it hurts far more than expected... I think people should know this. Personally, among all the surgeries I have had, this was the most painful. It may vary from person to person, but please think carefully before doing it. It is expensive too. Since the surgery, for some reason I feel even more uneasy mentally. For now, while I still have swelling, I like the shape and am satisfied. + Review a little over 2 months later First, the before-and-after difference is huge, and the nose, which I did not expect much from, has a high satisfaction level. My mouth still does not close well and it is unnatural, but that actually makes me look younger, so I like it. Overall, my appearance feels really refined... I do not regret having the surgery! Though I do wish I had reduced it more. + Review after more than 6 months First, the philtrum has gotten much longer, although it is still better than before, it is disappointing, and the nose tip has drooped completely. Also, because there is no pad of fat around the nose base, snot now drops straight down... As other people said, the hospital is also very unfriendly, and it feels like I just wasted my money. I will need revision surgery..

Apgujeong and Gangnam are so crowded and so famous, right? As a niche market, I'm curious how Nowon or other areas are. There are 5 or 10 plastic surgery clinics in Nowon too, apparently, and somehow it feels like there would be fewer…
