Based on the rights of consumers guaranteed by our Constitution and the Framework Act on Consumers, it was written for the purpose of sharing information, helping other patients, and serving the public interest, and I state that there is no intent to defame any medical institution beyond that purpose.
Around last summer, while looking into buccal fat liposuction, which had already been a stress point for me, I visited several clinics for consultations and decided to do it here because it seemed like the best one. Since I wanted real improvement in appearance, I planned to get a mini facelift, buccal fat liposuction, and masseter muscle tying for the double chin as well, for a total of six procedures. But I was told thread lifting absolutely had to be included, so I hesitated. Right before surgery, I told the manager I would not do thread lifting. They said they would tell the director, and in the end I lay down on the operating table. While I was lying there, the manager came into the operating room and said something like, "The director says thread lifting is essential if you want to shape it properly during the mini facelift," so I thought, okay, I guess so, and stayed on the table.
Up to that point there was no problem at all. The manager was genuinely extremely kind and seemed like a very good person. The director was also very kind. So I was lying on the table, and there were a male nurse and a female nurse next to me. They said the anesthetic was going in, and I drifted off on the anesthesia. But I had clearly requested CCTV recording before the surgery, and the manager was aware of it. I remember going into surgery a little after 2 o'clock, and when everything was finished, the manager and a nurse woke me up. I remember waking up around 9 o'clock. I was still not fully awake from the anesthesia, so my memory was not very clear, but the timing should be about right. Then, while I was visiting the clinic a few times afterward and comparing my pre- and post-surgery memories, it kept feeling like the surgery time was far too long. What I clearly remember from that time is that when I woke up, the director was nowhere to be seen. So while monitoring my recovery and talking with the manager on chat, I asked to see the CCTV footage, but they said they would first tell the director. After that, I ended up being turned down in the sense that recovery would be difficult. I clearly asked to see the CCTV not long after the surgery, and I still do not really understand it. Maybe because it is a one-doctor clinic, they put me under anesthesia and moved back and forth between consultations.. But the surgical result itself is okay. Honestly, I do not even know whether the thread lifting was included or not, but after the buccal fat liposuction, if you press on my cheeks, there is truly only skin left. I asked them to remove as much as possible. As for the mini facelift, whether it was lifted properly is another matter, but there are two mirrors in the bathroom at home, so I can see my side profile. My upper and lower lips used to be almost parallel, which stressed me out a bit, but my lower lip was pulled in a lot. I realized how important the side profile really is. But the surgical scar from the mini facelift is still quite noticeable on one side. I do not know whether that is due to surgical skill, and part of it is probably because I did not apply the ointment well enough. T_T And another strange thing: I was supposed to get chin botox and square-jaw botox, which they said would be included as a service, but when I asked a few days after the surgery, they said they had given the injections under anesthesia. Does that make sense? It is not that I am upset over a few tens of thousands of won... it just felt off. And there was a difference of several hundred thousand won between what was discussed during the consultation and what I actually paid. On the day of surgery I was tense and did not think about it, but I realized it while sorting out the money. lol Also, in another review post, there was someone who had thread lifting done and they said it took 4 hours too.. I am not really in a position to argue about it now, so I am just writing it down after hesitating about whether to post it or not.
