Because I had a deposit down for sedation anesthesia, I went ahead with the procedure. First of all, the coordinator was very inflexible and, even though I hadn't asked any questions, kept steering me toward additional procedures. I had come down with a bad case of the flu, so anesthesia seemed impossible, so after the weekend I changed the appointment date to Monday right away and was told to add another deposit, which would be deducted together with the original deposit when paying on the procedure day. But the coordinator just said the deposit had been forfeited because I hadn't changed the date within 3 days. They said they had sent me a text message about it, but I never received such a message. Even when I said I was so sick with the flu that anesthesia might not be possible and asked whether I still should have come in and had the procedure, they just talked around the issue. When I said on the phone that I had been told the deposit could be used together, they left me alone in the consultation room and went out for about 10 minutes to check something, and never came back in. Only after that, and with no apology, they said it had been confirmed. I was so irritated that instead of paying for 3 sessions as I had originally planned, I just paid for 1 session, had the procedure, and left. On top of that, they charged 165,000 won for sedation anesthesia, but I was not put under anesthesia.
