I finally finished consultations for my revision nose surgery, and this was the very last place I visited, so I remember it a bit more clearly. I’m writing this before I forget. At first, I was thinking about revision surgery because the tip of my nose was drooping, and while doing the CT scan they checked everything carefully and said the drooping tip was caused by the support being too weak. They also drew out the nose line with a simulated preview. They said autologous costal cartilage would be suitable if I wanted revision surgery to match the line I want, but they did not force me to use autologous costal cartilage no matter what. They also seemed to keep the harvest site for the autologous cartilage small, which was nice. But since autologous costal cartilage itself feels like a burden, I am still thinking about revision nose surgery itself.
