I went to remove an accessory breast. On ultrasound it was confirmed to be fatty tissue rather than breast tissue, so I only had liposuction surgery. There were tiny incisions in both armpits, and the visible accessory breast itself in the armpits is gone. However, as a side effect, the area that is presumed to be the lymph area of the armpit has hardened and swollen, so when I raise my arm, the armpit does not sink in but sticks out. At a level-2 general hospital, they thought it might be cancer and even did a CT scan, and I am planning to keep monitoring it at a higher-level hospital. It has been more than 2 years since the surgery and it is still like that, especially one side is much worse, so I wonder if different people did the two sides. Even when I went back to the hospital saying there were side effects, they said I had to pay separately for an ultrasound, and kept saying there was no bulging in the armpit at all, that it was just bone. Anyone can see it is not bone. I went there because it had good reviews on MODADOC and put down the deposit right away, but I really regret having liposuction here.
