About 20 years ago, only my right eye developed severe ptosis, so my eye sizes were uneven and I had revision surgery. My request was that I wanted the line thinner than it is now and for my pupils to look clearer. The result was a large scar-like lump at the inner corner of the right eye, and the surgery was finished with the double-eyelid line from the ptosis surgery on the right eye coming undone. The left eye had a round outer line, and the right eye had a sharp triangular inner line. The double-eyelid line even became thicker, so it looked stiff and unrefined. When I went to remove the stitches, the manager carefully observed my eyes because of the serious asymmetry. Before the revision surgery, the eye shapes themselves were not asymmetric; only the sizes differed because of ptosis. After surgery, the line came undone and only the right eye became triangular. Because of work, I lived gloomily with that eye shape for years. After a few years, I went back and asked for revision surgery on only the right eye. I paid 400,000 won in costs and had a second revision to fix the loosened line and remove the scar-like tissue on the right side. The result was that only the scar-like tissue was removed. The surgery ended with the line still loosened and the eye still triangular.
