I had the surgery in January 2011, so it has been over 10 years now. I saw friends around me who had the surgery and it seemed pretty good, so I just got a consultation, set a date, and went straight into surgery without shopping around. At the time, I had no knowledge about double eyelids, and I was only at the point of thinking, "As long as it doesn't become sausage eyes, it's fine?" So after the surgery, I lived feeling more or less satisfied as it wasn't too obvious that I had had double eyelid surgery. Now, 10 years later, I realize what I didn't notice before: the inner corner and the line thickness seem uneven, and my satisfaction has gone down, so I'm looking into revision surgery. Still, for the past 10 years, I didn't think it was seriously bad and I've been doing fine.
