How I chose the clinic: an acquaintance had had breast augmentation at another hospital and developed a problem there (infection), so she had revision surgery here. She had initially gotten her augmentation at a Gangnam clinic that was considered quite reputable, but because complications happened, she decided that revision surgery had to be even more precise than the first operation. After asking for advice from doctors around her and hearing recommendations, this was the place she was told to go. She recovered safely from the revision and I watched how satisfied she was from the side, so I did not look into any other hospital and decided on this place right away.
Breast augmentation was not a matter of whether to do it or not; it was more like a life task I felt I would have to do someday, ever since graduating from high school. With financial reasons and time constraints added on, I ended up doing it in my thirties.
I am fairly well-built, so I thought I should go with over 300 cc, but after the actual consultation they said my ribcage was narrow, I had a sunken chest, my skin was thin, and my space was small, so they recommended 250 cc. If possible, I wanted to be more glamorous, so I said I wanted to go over 300 cc, but they said if the pocket is too tight during surgery, it will not go in. I asked them to use the largest size that could safely fit my body and went into the operating room, and fortunately more than 300 cc went in. In the end, it suited my body perfectly, so I am satisfied.
My upper chest did not settle down right away, so I worried a lot, but as time passed it took its place, and from the one-year mark on, the feel was good too, and I have been living as if I do not even think about my breasts at all. Before surgery, my bras were always uncomfortable because of padding and underwires, but now I just wear wireless bras or sports bras in daily life, so it is incredibly comfortable.
It was a clinic I chose because I trusted the director's expertise alone, and the director and the nurses were all kind, and the clinic was clean too. The Naver Cafe is active, so if you look around there it will help a lot. They do a lot of review events, so many honest reviews get posted, and if you leave an inquiry for the director, he even replies, which was nice. I probably will not have a reason to see him again? lol But he said I could come back anytime for follow-up, so if I visit the hospital for a breast cancer or thyroid checkup, I am thinking of stopping by to say hello. I hope the director stays healthy for a long, long time and continues to heal people's hearts!
