Eyelash stabbing fixed with lower eyelid entropion surgery + incision double eyelid surgery!! >.<

Ever since I was a student, my eyelashes kept stabbing my eyes, and it was insanely stressful.. When it got really bad, the wind would make my eyes sting, and sometimes it hurt so much that it was hard to even open them.. I went to a hospital and found out it was entropion, and that my retina was already damaged because of it They recommended surgery, but as you can see in the photos, I also had uneven eyes, so if I was going to have surgery anyway, I wanted to do the cosmetic part too. So I held out and waited until I became an adult!! I also did not know much about plastic surgery, and I had very few friends around me who knew anything either.. But it was surprisingly hard to find a plastic surgery clinic that was good at entropion?? When I went for a consultation and asked, they said entropion could also be covered by insurance, so I went ahead and had the surgery!! The procedure was incision double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + medial canthoplasty + entropion correction (upper lashes, lower lashes) all together, and when I first heard the diagnosis, honestly I thought, is not this too much for a first surgery...? haha But my skin is thick and I also have a lot of eye fat, and overall my eyes had a heavy, closed-off look, so most of the procedures were actually necessary After the surgery, my eyes really looked much bigger than before and the entropion symptoms completely disappeared, so it feels so comfortable.... Before, the only thing I could do was manage it by using eye drops, but after surgery I have not even used artificial tears once, and I do not rub my eyes anymore, so the stress completely melted away. My parents were also worried as much as I was stressed, and they said I really did the right thing Since I had only recently become an adult, I paid with my parents' money, so I am glad I did not become an ungrateful daughter... Still, the swelling was my homework until the one-month mark haha. My face felt kind of puffy, so I worried and hoped the swelling would go down quickly, and each time I stayed in touch with the hospital and spent time getting care, I could see the swelling going down day by day! The scar is getting lighter too.... I was so worried because it was an incision, but both the entropion correction and the incision double eyelid surgery seem to have been successful, so I feel relieved I usually hate writing reviews and all that, but if there are really those of you suffering from entropion, do not put it off and get surgery soon, because your quality of life will change!!! 😻
