It has already been 3 months since I had surgery with Director Ham Ki-won at Gongsan Plastic Surgery. In my case, I had arrow-nose and hump-nose surgery using autologous costal cartilage, ear cartilage, and silicone. Right after surgery, time felt incredibly slow, but now it feels like it is passing very quickly. It feels like things have settled in somewhat now, and I am getting more comfortable. When I was told silicone would be inserted, I did worry that the foreign-body sensation might be severe, but I have not really felt anything like that from right after surgery until now, so I am satisfied. I also worried that over time the bridge would drop a lot more than it looked at the beginning, but that did not happen either. Because I did not have much swelling, overall it does not seem very different from right after surgery! More than anything, I had been avoiding making it too high, so I am glad they raised it naturally. People around me usually say it takes up to 6 months to fully settle, so I am going to watch the progress calmly until then!
