I had a consultation. I’ve been going around with a list made up only of hospitals that are famous in this community, and this one was the most professional in its explanations, and the surgical methods were professional too. For example, the tip of my nose had drooped slightly. At another hospital, they said they would cut the nasal tip cartilage, but here they said they would raise the angle of the nasal tip cartilage upward, or something like that? They said they would reposition the cartilage in that kind of way. They also explained in detail the issues with my nose, such as how it was bent.
They are realistic, so they clearly say when something cannot be done. Still, I felt they would be able to fully address the parts I want improved. Rather than recommending a line that suits me best, it seems they proceed by taking the line I want and adjusting to it. But for women, they seem to think of almost a straight-to-slightly-curved, straight-to-arched line haha. They said they do not do a half-arched line at all.
Because my nose is difficult (as other hospitals also said), they said that on the day of my surgery they would not schedule anything else, not even the consultation. The director seems to have a very FM style, very strict and by-the-book. I think they are the type to look at everything carefully and according to the textbook. Even though this place is ridiculously expensive for me (about 1 million won more than other places..), I felt, this is it, this is a place I can trust, so I put down the deposit and came back.
