Eye Surgery Considerations

Siwoo Review

I managed to finally get a hospital consultation appointment, but because it was on a weekday afternoon, traffic made me 30 minutes late (in fact, the Naver address was wrong, so I took the wrong turn and that is why I was late). No matter what happened, it was my fault for being late, and I also think it is right that the consultation time gets shorter by however much I was late. They can just say whatever they need to say within the shortened time. But the director's attitude was too... off. It was not exactly rude, but he seemed to have no enthusiasm at all for the surgery. If he did not want to do it, could he not just say not to come? He barely looked at me, touched my nose a few times, and it felt like, "This can be done like this," whether I liked it or not... That was really the feeling. I had booked this consultation after making a difficult reservation because I had heard this hospital was so good, and I had even called several times asking whether there were any no-shows because the wait was supposedly one month. I do not know whether he was upset or not. I also think he would have had reason to be upset. But after the consultation, I was unbelievably angry.. I have met directors who scold, and directors who speak very bluntly, but I always left those hospitals feeling good because I could feel that those directors were fully committed to surgery and were thinking through and researching many things for the patient being consulted. But I did not feel that at all in this consultation.. Also, if they already have that kind of attitude before surgery, I worried about how they would handle aftercare after surgery, and if any unforeseen side effects happened as well (I think that depends more on luck than on the director's surgery or skill), what kind of attitude they would take then. So even if they are very good at surgery, I did not want to have it done at a hospital like this. Please just tell me not to come if you do not want to operate on me next time. I called the hospital every 10 minutes when I was running late, apologizing sincerely and asking what I should do, and whether I could still come and have the consultation, and they said I could come, right? If you are only going to give a 10-minute consultation like this and then send people away, then please do not call them in the first place. The consultation manager, who knew I had gone through a lot to make the reservation, even said after the consultation, looking at my face, that I seemed dissatisfied and asked what she should do.. Sigh. Even now, whenever I think about it again, I just get angry.
