Nose Re-Surgery

Does the nasal tip keep dropping for about a year after surgery?

From what I see doctors saying on YouTube, the nasal tip keeps dropping because the septal cartilage gets absorbed, so they intentionally overcorrect to make the tip look lifted during surgery. But my doctor said they were correcting my bulbous nose and nasolabial angle, yet they only touched it very slightly, so my nasal tip actually looks a bit drooped. There is almost no difference in the tip before and after surgery. They said they used septal cartilage and donated rib cartilage, but it looks so drooped that I wonder if both materials were really used. Still, I'm worried because people keep saying the nasal tip continues to drop after surgery. Does that mean it keeps dropping little by little indefinitely? How was it for people who had the surgery?
