Because of fine lines and shininess, my makeup kept breaking down, so I tried skin Botox. During the consultation, I was told that unlike regular Botox, it is injected superficially in many places to help improve skin texture and pores. The treatment was done densely over the whole face, so there was some stinging, but it was at a tolerable level. There was no big change right after, but after a few days my skin felt a bit smoother. After about a week, my makeup slipped less and my oiliness felt a little reduced. That said, there were a few injection marks at first, so I think it would be better to avoid important events. Since the effect lasts for a few months, I understand why so many people get it as ongoing maintenance. Overall, it feels like something that tidies up skin condition without being very noticeable, so I think it is good to try lightly.
