I basically had almost no upper breast volume and my overall shape was a little saggy, so it was always stressful that clothes never fit my line nicely. I was lacking volume in general, but especially unhappy with the shape, so even using shaping bras to cover it started to feel limited over time. It bothered me more in summer or when wearing tight clothes, and after thinking about it for quite a while, I decided to have surgery because I wanted to improve the shape itself, not just make it bigger! Also, compared with my limbs, I tend to carry a bit more weight in my torso, and because I have a straight body type with a wide ribcage, I was worried that making it too large would only make me look bulkier. So rather than making it bigger no matter what, I focused more on a naturally balanced size that would suit my body type! I compared several hospitals during consultations, and each place definitely had a different atmosphere and style of explanation. Giraffe Plastic Surgery, which I chose, felt like a fairly large hospital overall, so I really liked that the system seemed well organized, and the flow from consultation to surgery to aftercare felt stable. Dr. Song Jae-yong's consultation honestly was not the kind that goes on super long or explains every tiny detail, but there was also no sense of being pushed toward an unnecessarily large size or feeling pressured, so I think that actually made me trust it more. I also liked that he talked about going naturally in a way that suited my body type. The front desk, the director, and the nursing team also explained only the necessary parts without making it feel like they were aggressively selling anything, so I could move forward without pressure, and because it was a large hospital, the whole process felt organized, which played a pretty big role in my decision since it gave me the impression that the management would be good. The day of surgery passed by more chaotically than I expected. It would be a lie to say I wasn't nervous at all, but they kept checking on me and guiding me until I went into the operating room, so I didn't feel very anxious. When I woke up in the recovery room after the surgery, it just felt a little sore; it wasn't so painful that I couldn't stand it. After surgery, sleep was harder than the pain itself. For about 3 weeks, it was hard to sleep fully comfortably even while lying down, so that was secretly stressful. Still, I adjusted to daily life faster than expected, and things gradually got better over time. I'm one month out now, so there is still some upper fullness left, but I can definitely tell that the overall volume has increased and my upper body line looks different. Especially since I can get some shape even without a bra or shaping garments, the difference is clear. Because of my wide ribcage, I originally had a body type where cleavage almost never appeared, but now when I wear a bra that brings the breasts together, it naturally creates cleavage, which is one of the changes I am really satisfied with. And personally, something kind of funny happened: after the surgery I barely moved and just ate, so I gained a little weight, but because my breasts got bigger, my belly looked less noticeable, which I did not expect but was satisfying. It still hasn't fully settled yet, so I am looking forward to the swelling going down and the texture and shape becoming even more natural, and overall I feel like the goal of improving the shape has definitely been achieved, so up to now I am satisfied.
