Review of ptosis correction (incision) and epicanthoplasty

I had my consultation on April 13, and the consultation was with the clinic manager and the director on the same day. My eyes have always been thin and small, with a wide gap between my eyebrows, and I went after reading reviews about non-double-eyelid ptosis correction. I didn’t have a clear aesthetic goal, so I discussed double-eyelid lines and several different surgeries with the manager and the director one by one. Because I did not want a flashy, dramatic change, and because I had a lot of fat in my upper eyelids, I was told that if I had double-eyelid surgery, it could end up looking like sausage eyelids. So I was recommended non-double-eyelid ptosis correction, and was also told that combining it with epicanthoplasty could produce a much better result, but there was absolutely no pressure. However, it was already something I had been worried about, so I readily decided on surgery, and when I said I wanted to do it quickly because of scheduling, they set the date for just three days later, on the 16th. During the consultation, they showed me the postoperative course and reviews for many different cases, and explained things by showing both cases where epicanthoplasty was done and where it was not in situations similar to mine. When I expressed concern about showing too much of the lacrimal caruncle with epicanthoplasty, the director showed me his own eyes in detail and explained the aesthetic need for an appropriate amount of lacrimal caruncle exposure. He also pointed out the average distance between the eyebrows and my own distance, and said it would look pretty if I did it. There was absolutely no pressure..! I got forehead Botox on the day of the consultation, and when I said it was my first time getting forehead Botox and also my first surgery, they worried a lot and gave me a lot of encouragement.! The surgery was done under sleep anesthesia, and the pain was only brief after the surgery... maybe? It was numb for one day and that was it. The swelling and bruising went down faster than I expected, so from day 11 I was going out without a hat or sunglasses. I’m currently at the two-week mark, and there is no pain or discomfort at all, but my eyes still don’t close completely, so when I wake up my eyes feel dry...? I bought eye ointment and artificial tears at the pharmacy, put them in before sleeping, and slept with a humidifier on, so it’s bearable. Most of my worries were resolved by asking ChatGPT and the clinic manager questions on KakaoTalk, and I ask ChatGPT every day by taking photos and comparing them with the surgery recovery data to see how I’m doing, and it says I’m recovering better than average! I already posted this as a review event on another app and in another cafe, but I thought there weren’t many reviews on this community, so I’m posting it here.. It’s not for people who want a flashy, obvious change in impression, but if you want a plain, neat change without a big overall image change... like opening your eyes nicely when you look in the mirror..?(The way you open your eyes normally and the way you open them while looking in the mirror are different, it turns out..) I recommend it for people who want that kind of change! (Especially men)
