<Before removal/After removal>(I’m posting because I think rhinoplasty removal review photos are rare Planning to delete the photos)
I had rhinoplasty only, 4 times over more than ten years, and in the end I was so sick of it that I chose complete removal The more you touch the nose, the pointier it gets, and whether the skin keeps getting thinner or the condition inside the nose gets worse, things show through, the nose turns red when it’s cold, and the more you touch it, it just becomes the typical “surgically done” nose.. I didn’t want to keep being stressed by a hard, pointed nose anymore, so after a lot of thought I decided on complete removal I was scared that if I had complete removal, my nose would contract and curl upward, etc., causing nasal deformity, so I spent several more years thinking about it before finally having the surgery. Now I’m a little scared of the contraction phase..ㅎ So far my nose feels a little tight, but it’s not very uncomfortable and is bearable, and the director said I don’t need to worry about the nose turning upward, so I’m going to do the downward taping he taught me and just focus comfortably on recovery
I had complete removal through an open approach, and he said he removed the capsule + repositioned all the cartilage + because I had many surgery rounds, the tissues inside were very tangled, so he released everything This is the nose I’ll have for the rest of my life, so I should maintain it well and take care of it.. haha It seems similar to my original nose, but the nasal tip definitely feels different. Maybe because I had many surgeries, or because the implant had been inside and pressed on the nasal bone and stretched the tissue, something about it feels different. It’s much more natural and rounded than the pointed nose I had with the implant. Now a natural nose looks prettier to me. There’s still scar tissue and it hasn’t been long since surgery, so it feels firm, but once it fully recovers, it should become much softer! After removing it, I feel so relievedㅜ! Now all that’s left is recovery ㅠㅠ
