How I narrowed down hospitals for revision eye surgery through online research and in-person consultations lolololol

I'm writing this because I think there may be at least one person like me... I'm glad if it helps anyone I had only been thinking that I should write a post someday, and since I turned on my laptop, I'm writing it now

In my life, I had never even used the terms online research or in-person consultations, and I didn't know how to do them either lolololol I only started trying to look into it after coming here, but how do you find hospitals? Which places are good at revision surgery, and when am I supposed to search through all the plastic surgery clinics in Seoul, a place in this huge Korea whose geography I don't even know... That's how I started

First, I signed up for plastic surgery apps and plastic surgery cafes, including this community. Except for sleeping and eating, I kept refreshing. I mainly searched this community and ㄱㅇㅅ. I searched every surgery I was planning to do. Revision surgery, revision eyes, multiple revision surgery, I searched all of them. Then whether it was brokers or whatever, I wrote down every hospital I saw in my notes first. If I wrote them by initials and didn't know which hospital it was? If you type the initials as they are in this community, it almost always comes up with the full hospital name

Whether cafes or anything else, search everything, scroll down, and even if it was from years ago, just write it all down. Even if it looked like an ad, I wrote it down first. If you keep searching like that... sometimes you see informative comments. The fixation is deep, the director feels off, I had it done here and the review is like this. If the timing is right, you see it before it gets taken down. If you leave replies on posts like that, sometimes you get a reply. Write that down next to the hospital name too. Just keep looking consistently like this. And really, please!!!!!! The important thing is!!!!!!!!! <<<<<Don't rush into surgery>>>>>

I think I ended up narrowing down nearly 30 hospitals this way... And I looked at the side effects tab on ㅂㅂㅌ and the premium reputation section in this community. What you need to be careful about here is that you have to look closely at bad reviews too. Don't automatically filter something out just because the rating isn't perfect; you need to see what kind of bad it is. Is it simple dissatisfaction, or is it functional or a side effect? Then filter again from there. As I wrote above, I mainly searched this community and ㄱㅇㅅ. Brokers may be everywhere, but still... these were better. But wherever you search is your own choice

If you spend this much time, you'll get at least one piece of information. Either new information or information you need to filter out. If you roughly filtered things through online research, narrow it down to a small number of places where you personally want to go for consultations, then go to the consultations. Something I really agreed with was that listing things through online research at home only gets you so far; you only know once you go for in-person consultations lolololol It was true. When you go around for consultations, even someone who knew nothing about eyes starts learning about eye structure and what the current state of their own eyes is. Sometimes they point things out accurately, and you learn things you didn't know. But if the directors aren't great, there isn't anywhere you like, and nothing really pulls you in? Then go to more consultations~ The more time you spend, the more information keeps coming out. That's how I also filtered out two hospitals with side effect cases. Even though they had been on my final list lolololol

After that... you'll kind of get a feel for whether something is a broker or not lolololol If you're like, huh, I've never seen this hospital before, and search it, it may be a mess... This post got too long, but I started without even knowing online research or in-person consultations, so I felt really lost. That's why I posted this hoping it would help, but sorry it's so long lolololol What I just want to emphasize is that you shouldn't rush plastic surgery, and you need to spend a lot of time. And just because a place is famous doesn't mean every cosmetic surgery succeeds, and there's no guarantee that mine will succeed either. I think the important thing is to understand my own eyes well and find the right director. It's hard, but... I'm posting this because I hope everyone looks into it carefully and doesn't rush into cosmetic surgery!! lolol
