ㅇㅈㅊㄱ double-jaw surgery for a retruded chin.
I’m planning to have double-jaw surgery because of external appearance issues such as a retruded chin and asymmetry. It feels like mandibular hypoplasia.
I’ve already had orthodontic treatment, so my bite is currently aligned. Because of this, unless I undergo reverse orthodontic treatment, my lower jaw can only be brought forward through counterclockwise rotation. The amount that needs to be advanced to fall within the normal range is roughly over 10 mm, so it’s a severe retruded chin.
The director at ㅇㅈㅊㄱ is telling me not to do it. Has anyone had a case like mine?
