Hello, I’m 8 months post-op from square jaw surgery! I had the surgery done while leaving a little of the mandibular angle below the ears. I really hate the overly shaved “dog jaw” look, and the doctor also recommended doing it that way, so the consultation went smoothly hahaha I think choosing that approach was re~~ally the right decision. I feel like my face shape suits my features so well I was worried because sensation around my chin came back a little later than for other people, but by almost the 5-month mark, it had all returned! The asymmetry on both sides of my face also improved well, and I’m so happy that I went from a very severe square jaw to a V-line♥♥♥
