First, to describe my eye condition, I’ve never had any cosmetic surgery before, and I do have double eyelids, but they change depending on my condition. Lately the crease has gotten lower, so I went for consultations. Personally, I think my eyes are round (I think the horizontal length is short), so I was considering dual canthoplasty + double eyelid surgery.
Clinic / Director initials (if more than one doctor or if the clinic cannot be distinguished by initials alone)
ㄷㄹ / ㅅㅎㅅ - Consultation went in the order of consultant > director - Non-incisional double eyelid surgery (between an in-out line and a semi-out line) + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty if needed(?) + fat removal and maybe repositioning too(?) - The reason I wrote it so vaguely is that when the director was speaking, his voice was so quiet that it sounded like mumbling.. Anyway, I also wanted posterior-lower canthoplasty, but he didn’t recommend that. - Before this, I had gone to consultations at clinics that were famous online without realizing they might have been recommended by brokers by mistake, and then I had this consultation, so I felt there wasn’t overtreatment.. But I’ll write below why I wondered if it might be overtreatment
ㄱㅇ / ㅊㅎㅊ - I only had a consultation with the consultant and left lol. The reason is.. when she looked at me, her expression was like, why did you come? Since my eyes aren’t originally on the small side and I already have double eyelids, I guess that’s why - I said my eyes are uneven and the double eyelid shape changes day by day, so she told me to only get non-incisional double eyelid surgery, tried holding the line a few times, and sent me off - She said I didn’t need posterior-lower canthoplasty, and although she didn’t mention epicanthoplasty, she said my eyes didn’t need it - That’s why the ㄷㄹ consultation above felt like overtreatment. But I don’t want to get only double eyelid surgery
ㄱ현ㅅ - Consultation went in the order of director > consultant (the consultant part was more of an explanation of information about the surgery the director recommended rather than a consultation) - Here too, the director’s expression was also like, why did you come? I said I thought the horizontal length was short, but he firmly said it wasn’t. So likewise, he recommended only double eyelid surgery (non-incisional). That made me wonder again about the ㄷㄹ consultation.
All three were on the kind side, though there were also some who were a bit blunt. And there was no separate consultation fee either.
