A bulbous nose has been a complex of mine since I was young, so I went for a consultation because I’m planning to get rhinoplasty this time. I had a CT scan, and I consulted because I want a nose shape like a straight-to-slightly-curved profile. They said my cartilage is small, so they would build the support structure with septal cartilage + donated costal cartilage, build the nasal tip with ear cartilage, and place silicone in the nasal bridge. They also said I have a dorsal hump, so they would shave the hump and also do osteotomy on both sides.
I’m worried because it seems like more materials are being used than I expected. What do you think?
