I have a short, upturned nose, and last time I posted a consultation review for ㅅㄱ and ㅍㄹㅁㅇ! Today I went to ㅁㅇㄷ in Nonhyeon and ㅊㅇ in Sinsa, so I’m leaving a review
-ㅁㅇㄷ : Consultation fee 10,000 won. Lowering the nostril rim. Uses septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and if the septal strength is not sufficient during surgery, donated costal cartilage may be used. Cartilage tying is included. They would smooth out the slight hump by sanding it down, and insert a very thin layer of silicone for a more polished result. Because my base nasal bones are wide, osteotomy was recommended. The alar base is also wide, so they said it may be necessary to consider making a very small incision to create slimmer, oval-shaped nostrils. The director’s consultation was based on photos and CT scans, and he used Photoshop retouching to give an intuitive consultation. The surgery is done under sedation anesthesia.

They said it would not be a good fit for someone who wants a high, flashy nose. They would use septal cartilage and ear cartilage to extend the nasal tip. They checked the septal strength with a cotton swab. After extending the nasal tip, if there is enough skin laxity, they would use postauricular fascia? to slightly raise the nasal bridge with autologous material. Lowering the nasal tip a lot is important too, but because it can make the overall image look too aged, they would lower it only slightly to match my facial image. Cartilage tying is included. If I want nasal bone osteotomy, they can do it. Sedation anesthesia. No preoperative checkup. If you book the same day, they provide 2 bridal skin-care sessions as a service and take 200,000 won off the surgery fee.
For ㅁㅇㄷ, maybe because the director knows how to use Photoshop, he drew the exact shape I wanted, so I could intuitively check the after look!! For ㅊㅇ, the surgery cost was also affordable, and more than anything, it seemed like they pursue safe methods that minimize inflammation. They also seemed reluctant to use silicone (my nasal bridge is on the higher side, so most clinics did recommend no implant for me)
Considering the price too, and because both the director and consultant were honest, the consultation was detailed, and it seemed safe, I set a surgery date with ㅊㅇ and paid a deposit^^… I also booked a consultation with ㄹㅂㄹ in February, so I do want to go, but I’m not sure what I’ll do
