I had double eyelid surgery when I was a minor, and I had it done with the buried-suture method! But in the end, after about 3 years, it came undone. Still, I wasn’t particularly dissatisfied. I tend to rub my eyes a lot, so I think that made it come undone faster.
After making the appointment, I had the surgery the next day or so, and the director was kind, so I felt comfortable during the surgery. The surgery was successful, but right after it was finished, the swelling was unbelievable, so I remember the director saying, "Please don’t resent me too much," then leaving the operating room, and they did a swelling laser treatment for me.
