High school freshman double eyelid surgery 2-month review — would you call this a success??

After <recent> I’m the student who posted in a community 2 months ago asking whether or not I should get double eyelid surgery! I went for a consultation at a private clinic that was recommended in the comments back then. The director was so kind, and he pursued the glamorous style I wanted. He didn’t really draw the line for me in detail, but he explained it well verbally, so I just set the date right then that day and went ahead with surgery a week later haha

I added posterior lower canthoplasty on the day of surgery and had it done too, and it hurt the mostㅠㅠ For about 3 days I couldn’t see well because of the eye stitches and ointment, but I walked 10,000–20,000 steps every day (I really love walking) and iced it a lot, so the swelling went down really quickly!! I didn’t do warm compresses separately. I took the three-piece swelling medication set and power-walked lol

After school started and I went back... I hear people say I’m pretty constantly every day..  I used to only be able to wear lenses up to 13.5 mm in diameter, but now even when I wear 13.9–14.0, my eyes don’t look dog-like. Before surgery, I had still been living satisfied with my eyes, and I wondered if I was doing it for no reason. I spent 17 years hearing endlessly that monolids are charming, so I worried a lot about surgery, but even if monolids are attractive, I like my eyes after surgery more haha My makeup applies better too, and I’m so satisfied!! I’m living happily after surgery!

The director was so sweet during surgery, when I woke up from anesthesia, listening to all my pointless chatter..

I had ptosis correction + incision + medial, upper, lower, and posterior canthoplasty (full canthoplasty). I wanted a semi-out line, but because my eyes were ambiguous, all 7 other clinics said it wouldn’t work! This clinic was the only one that said they would make an in-out line with the inner corner set higher so it would look like a semi-out line!
